Information under art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and request for consent for the processing of personal data collected from the interested party.

 

Legend

1. Data Controller identity and contact details

The data controller is Scic SpA based in Viarolo, Via Cremonese 135 / A, 43126 Parma (PR), VAT and Tax Code 02801370343 email: privacy@pec.scic.it, Manufacturer of kitchen furniture.

2. Purpose and legal basis of processing

The user's personal data will be processed: a) without express consent (Article 24, points a), b) and c), Privacy Code and Article 6, points b) and e) of the GDPR for the following service purposes: - provision of services requested by the user through the relevant section of the reference site; - respond to user requests; - comply with legal obligations;

b) Only subject to specific and separate consent to be expressed through the appropriate "Flag" (articles 23 and 130 of the Privacy Code and article 7 of the GDPR), for the following Marketing Purposes:

- direct and indirect marketing related to the projects promoted:

- send the product newsletter

- send the event newsletter

- send the corporate communication newsletter

- profiling activities, where profiling means the collection of information about the profiles of companies and individuals who actively participate in events, projects and fairs promoted by Scic SpA in order to improve the products and services offered according to needs of the customer

 

It should be noted that the direct marketing activity aims to collect and use relevant data limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose for which it is processed. In particular: processing studies, research, sending advertising and information material, sending commercial information, making interactive commercial communications. Customers who have already received information based on the previous legislation may receive commercial communications regarding the services and products of the Controller similar to those they have already used, except in case of disagreement (pursuant to article 130 c. 4 of the Privacy Code).

3. Recipients of personal data

Within the scope of the aforementioned purposes, user data will be the exclusive property of Scic SpA and will not be sold or shared with Scic SpA third parties, partners or customers

 

4. Transfer of data to third countries

The Data Controller is not part of a group and does not intend to transfer user data to other companies based in countries outside the European Union.

 

5. Data retention period

Personal data will be kept for the period of time necessary to pursue the specific purposes of the processing for which the user has given his consent. In particular:

1) for at least 10 years from the termination of the relationship for the purposes of service indicated in paragraph 2A;

2) until the exercise of the right to withdraw consent for the purposes of marketing described in paragraph 2.B.

6. Rights of the interested party

The user may, at any time, exercise the rights indicated below.

 

1. Access to personal data: obtain confirmation or not that the data concerning you are being processed and, in this case, have access to the following information: purposes, data categories, recipients, retention period, the right to complain to a supervisory authority, the right to request the correction or cancellation or limitation of the treatment or opposition to the treatment itself, as well as the existence of an automated decision-making process;

2. Request for rectification or cancellation (forgetting) of it or limitation of the treatments that concern it; "limitation" means the marking of stored data for the purpose of limiting its processing in the future;

3. Opposition to processing: oppose for reasons related to your particular situation to the processing of data for the performance of a task of public interest or for the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller;

4. Data portability: in the case of automated processing carried out on the basis of consent, receiving data concerning you in a structured format, in common and readable use; in particular, the data will be provided by the Data Controller.

5. Withdrawal of consent for processing for purposes of marketing, market research and profiling; the exercise of this right in no way affects the legality of the treatment carried out before the revocation;

6. Submit a complaint under the terms of art. 77 RGDPR to the competent supervisory authority based on his habitual residence, place of work or place of violation of his rights; for Italy, the Guarantor for the protection of personal data is competent and can be contacted through the contact details listed on the website www.garanteprivacy.it. These rights may be exercised by sending a specific request to the Data Controller, through the contact channels indicated in art. 1 of this information. Requests concerning the exercise of the user's rights will be processed without undue delay and, in any case, within 30 working days after the request; it is only in cases of particular complexity and in the number of requests that this period can be extended by another 60 days.

7. Communication and provision of data

The provision of data by the user is mandatory, since they are necessary for the provision of the requested service. Therefore, any refusal by the user to provide the data may result in the failure to provide the service, insofar as such data is necessary for these purposes.

 

8. Changes to Scic SpA's privacy policy

Applicable law and Scic SpA practices change over time. If Scic SpA decides to update its privacy policy, it will post the changes on its websites and communicate them via newsletter. If the way Scic SpA will process personal data, provide notice or, when required by law, consent will be requested before implementing such changes. Scic SpA strongly recommends that you read its policy and stay informed about it. The privacy policy was last changed in May 2018.

Scic SpA welcomes questions, comments and concerns about its privacy policy and privacy practices.
